Frequently asked questions

How often does Pulse check services?
Every 5 minutes. Each check hits the provider's official status API — no polling their website.
What services are supported?
We track 487+ cloud services including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Cloud, Google Workspace, GitHub, Vercel, Stripe, Slack, OpenAI, Anthropic, Cloudflare, and dozens more. Need something not on the list? Ask and we'll add it.
Can I monitor my own URLs?
Yes. Add any URL — your website, an API health endpoint, a customer-facing app — and Pulse pings it every 5 minutes. You get alerted the moment HTTP status changes.
How are alerts delivered?
Email, Slack, and Discord webhooks. We alert once when a service goes down and once when it recovers — no spam on flapping services.
How is this different from the provider's own status page?
Most providers have a status page — but do you check 20 of them every morning? Pulse aggregates them all and only bothers you when something actually breaks. Plus URL monitoring for stuff that doesn't have a public status page.
